People and Plants International (PPI) is a non-profit organization of ethnoecologists devoted to conservation and the sustainable use of plant resources around the world.

PPI builds on the 12-year People and Plants Initiative, a joint project of the WWF, UNESCO, and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, UK.

Now headquartered in New York, PPI is composed of an international steering committee who develop projects in six primary program areas in areas of high biological diversity.
