Conservation Series
So far seven books have been published in the series, with another two in press (one about the international woodcarving trade, and one about writing floras). The final book from the People and Plants programme will be an introduction to plant conservation. People and Plants International intends to continue the series in the future.

Videos
The latest video (Carving a Future) looks at woodcarving, which adds more value to wood than the timber industry, often creating more jobs and income for local people. This video provides 10 lessons aimed at developing sustainable woodcarving enterprises.

Working Papers
Case-studies on significant themes in applied ethnobotany. The final paper in the current series is a study of fodder and fuelwood management in the face of deforestation at Ayubia National Park, Pakistan. Most Working Papers are accessible on this website, in HTML or PDF format.

Handbook
Thematically based, the earlier issues are a source of information on applying ethnobotany to conservation and community development. The final issue (Handbook 9) contains reports on field projects, and considers the evaluation and legacy of the programme.

  Discussion Papers
An occasional series published by WWF. Current issues concern fair deals in bioprospecting.

  Africa Programme Bulletins
These two bulletins contain annotated bibliographies of research in African ethnobotany.
